Cannondale Systemsix Review. Aero Road Bike Tested!

We go into detail of the Cannondale Systemsix road bike. It comes with the stock Hollowgram and Knot wheels and cockpit and then it goes custom from there. We added Kogel bottom bracket and derailleur cage, Supacaz bar tape, Wend wax and Enve cages. It's all decked out with SRAM AXS Etap and Vittoria 23mm tires. I have the exact same frame. Also a 54. I use Mavic Comet Pro Carbon SL rims and I'm running tubeless. I went with the Ultegra Di2 and Ultegra crank. I got rid of the Cannondale saddle. Not the most comfortable and replace it with a PRO Stealth carbon. Nice ride!

red polley looks great, i would do it too even its prooved, the efficiency of weight/ watts/ bend chain/ easy spinning = less then 0.12% But looks hell good

Still riding a Cervelo S-1, I have not seen a need to upgrade because I haven't seen any faster aerobikes. I can easily keep up with carbon bikes on group rides.

hi i recently got the red black ultergra version but the seatpost seems stuck i cannot get the allen key 4mm ti grab onto nothing any tips on how to fix the issue thanks

It could be a stripped bolt or the post could be seized. Either way don't force it. You could take it to your LBS and see what they can do. Good luck!

Can this frame accommodate 25 and 28 mm tires? 23mm tires are becoming scarce right?

You can put up to 28mm tires on there. Less people are using 23's but they do have aero gains on these wheels due to the width. Right now I'm running 25 mm Vittorias and I love them!

Can you please provide details on this computer mount? I really don’t like Cannondale’s setup with the mount on top of the handlebar.. yours looks really nice and clean

@@Veloworthy I also use it on my System 6 and love it.....What's ironic is why Wahoo has yet to make an integrated go pro mount after all this time vs Raceware who made it in a blink.......It's a pretty sturdy mount

@@Veloworthy Great vid...I have the non-Hi-MOD, Ultegra mechanical version of the SystemSix that does not have the integrated bars. The end of the stem seems to have some kind of cap on it for aesthetics/aerodynamics (I guess) and I'm not sure if I can just pull that off to put an out front mount. I am running it now with the basic mount that comes with the head unit zip tied to the stem. It isn't as easy to view in that position, and also doesn't look as nice. Do you know whether I can just remove that cap?

why such low gearing 46/36? on a aero bke you cant get over 28 mph in fast group ride..correct me if im wrong

With 10X28 Cassette on the back. You can get going quickly. I've sprinted up to high 30's MPH in that gearing with room to spare.

It can climb up well at grades of less than 6% but I passed a guy on an 18% climb the other day 😜

It might be a bit rough but you could use 28's and go tubeless for a bit more comfort.
