Hello, I've got the drive 50v rim brake and love them. But when it's windy over 15knots/h I feel very uncomfortable, they catch the wind very badly. My new bike is now a BMC Roadmachine disc brake and I was thinking to put some G45 like yours on it, to be used for both fast road riding and maybe some gravel, by obviously swapping tyres. Would you recommend them? Hows the stability in windy condition? Thanks

For windy conditions anything below 45mm will be okay. I don't recommend these wheels for the reasons of warranty, as well as comfort, they also get dents easily in gloss. sS far as outright performance in racing goes these are fantastic. I'm not affiliated with Elitewheels in any ways.

Cheers, Elitewheels recommends at least 30mm tyre though. As you mentioned, Enve or even Reserve make now super wide inner wheels specifically for road riding. Visma Lease a bike is winning on hooked 25mm internal width wheels, crazy to think of only 5 years ago. My idea is using them 99% on road with some chunky 30mm tyres. Here in Australia the roads are good but very very rough, it's like riding on compact gravel all the time. What's your thoughts?

@@lorenzogiusto3222 I currently have 28mm tubeless, been riding this setup hard. I like 30+mm tires although they add weight penalty. Awhile back I made a video about rolling resistance at different pressure on relatively smooth surface and was blown away kzbin.info/www/bejne/i4TUlKtmoq2ibdk

@@TucsonRider cool video, what pressure do you run the elitewheels and what's your weight if I can ask? I just received my set and I didn't realised before buying that max pressure on these rims isonly 65psi
