I bought this bike a year ago, it is everything I could ever want in an ebike. Have ridden as far as 58 miles on a single charge by adjusting the level of assistance, hills are not a problem for this 72 year old now! However it did stop turning on a month ago, returned it back to the dealer and it took them over 4 weeks to figure out what was wrong. Replaced the battery, then the switch and then had to wait for programming. It seems like the tech had no clue how to work on an ebike, definitely needs more training. Hopefully that will be the last problem I have, overall I really love the bike.

I heard the battery will lose its charge if you let sit for a week or so after charging. Has this happened to you? Have you ridden it in the winter? Does the cold or snow build up affect it? I commute 6km to work all year and think about it as it's affordable!

@@jakeblumes1 I live in Florida so winter rides are never a problem. Yes any battery that sits will lose some voltage but for this bike it’s not even noticeable. I still love this bike and have no regrets buying it.

No digital display seems like a bad idea but wow is the bike lightweight.

Its more so to keep the costs down. Utilizing the Emotion bike app is better than any display on the market and its free! But it is insanely light and easy rolling!

I have this fab bike. But today riding home from work the cranks suddenly seized. I had plenty of battery left but cannot get the cranks to turn. I managed to 'free' them but only got a few more yards and they seized up again. It also looks like there is a lot of thread showing on the left crank - wonder if it has worked loose?

hi i have this bike and my spokes get loose every two weeks i use it for city and gravel. What I can do?

Hey Jose! The treadwell runs a loose spoke tension from the factory. Make sure you take this to your dealer and ask them what the correct tension is on these spokes. If you over tighten these, they can and will break the mounts on the hub and youll need a new wheel. Weve seen it before!
