Super helpful. I got about 150 cans in and started having leaks. Followed all the directions, turned out to just be table height but love all the work on support for the machine.

@stevetodd15595 жыл бұрын
Great video, but you should have released it when the Cannular first hit the market. It would also have been extremely helpful to have included the bit about the table axis alignment in the manual, as I suspect that's what caused me several days of frustration and a few dozen ruined cans before I finally got the machine working properly. Now that it's aligned, though, this machine is an absolute pleasure to use. Excellent product.

Yes we do adjust the machines before dispatch so we get 5 successful can seams before the machine is packed up in the box. With that said customers might want to use different cans that we do not sell and they will find this video helpful.

The main problem I have is the concentric adjustment. I suggest checking that first and using cans that have sparkling water in them as test items so you don’t waste precious beer.

Whould be a good point if you say how long in position 1 and 2 have to hold. My experience in position 1 - direkt hit it to maximum and for about 0,4seconds and position 2 for just about one turning around 0,3 seconds something . If longer it scratches metal from the can and no sucess seaming it
@KegLand Жыл бұрын
If the rolls are well tuned in this should not be an issue but you are right in saying this very short 0.4sec is all that is required.

Almost 40 cans in and just 1 can successfully sealed, the next can not sealed. My cannula doesn’t have the treaded bearing adjustment and so 3 hands are needed. It’s been a very frustrating time and I’m just about ready to give up. I wonder if there’s a problem with the cans? Too hard.

Which system can be used to avoid oxidation as much as possible while canning the beer? Have you thought about this problem?
@KegLand3 жыл бұрын
Yes absolutely. You need to make sure you are capping on foam. So make sure to fill up the can with a small amount of foam on top then when the lid pushes down it should push some of the foam out of the head space to evacuate oxygen. This is also what is done in the commercial canning industry.
@quarlow12154 жыл бұрын
Nice machine but it seems like a lot of adjusting. Ford had the right idea that would be well applied here. And that is "when its tight it's right". Could you not have machined it so that the parts were just bolt on and be right. Also it seems like a large expense for disposable packaging that doesn't even get a return fee. Aren't flip top bottles or just any kind of bottle not a more environmentally responsible option. I get the cool factor here but it seems like a big expense just so Bubba can squish the empties on his forehead. I think this loses sight of one of the reason's for home brewing. "Cheaper the than store bought". Not trying to rain on your parade, just giving another side to it.

I bought the cannular Pro, and this Video says the 1st OP roller is on the left. The manual for the Pro Cannular says the 1st OP roller is on the Right. WTF is it a typo or is really reversed?? I don't want to waste half a dozen cans to find out
@joseosorio1733 жыл бұрын

The rollers or rather the operations are reversed on the semi auto as compared to the manual canning machine. Best to go by the manual for your specific canning machine.

Can sleeves are lined with what chemical?
@KegLand2 жыл бұрын
Almost all sleeves are lined with an epoxy coating. All cans that we sell use a FDA approved epoxy coating which is suitable for a wide range of beverages. Unfortunately our cans are not suitbale for wine or very acidic liquids such as pure lemon juice. These products might be ok for a short period but high level of preservatives in some wines and acidic liquids can penetrate through the epoxy coating after some time.

@@KegLand is the chemical BPA?
@KegLand2 жыл бұрын
@@BennyBestt BPA is a chemical used in the formation of many types of epoxy. The particular expoxy used is one that has passed the FDA approvals for food contact and in this testing they determin if there is any migration of the substances in the coating getting into the beverage. The coating passes these tests. If you would like more information then please email us and we can send you more specificaion details on the coating types if you like.
