Hi 👋 Trev you made me home sick .. I'm living in Perth but from Te Tairawhiti never thought of canoeing down the Waipaoa you make it look so enjoyable and relaxing definitely am going to invest in a canoe 🛶 and do that trip..the motu would be another adventure..be safe love your content..missing our peice of paradise....not the duck's 🤣👋

It is a great trip down the river, next i will look at starting up the Mangatu, the river is very shallow but no probs canoeing it, i have thought about the Motu as well, think it would be an interesting trip 😂😝🐠🛶🏕🎣🇳🇿🦈🪵🪓

Was a great trip, river is really shallow, i am looking at starting up the mangatu and coming down again, would more than likely be a two night trip

Gidday brother,i did kayak from te karaka to Gisborne but started from kanakanaia bridge and it took me a whole day, stopping for lunch at Ormond bridge and carried on to river mouth,5:30am i left tekaraka,and got to gizzy 5:50pm back in 1985,im now 56yo and hoping to do it again👍 good on ya mate

A great trip to do I enjoyed every moment of it. Having a camp out etc, it’s a very safe trip to do no rapids etc 😝😝😝
