Learning new equipment/software can be frustrating. I'll bet especially so since the malfunction happened on such an epic adventure. I'm glad to see you're working through it, that lake is magnificent and those campsites look awesome 👌

Bummer about the lost footage. I didn't realize the lake was that big. Time for a new camp pad.

There is some big water there, and a lot of miles of shoreline . They warrantied my pad and sent me a new one finally!

How was canoeing? Was it tough and cold? Worth doing?

It was awesome. Kayaking would be easier but it takes two. My canoe is a whitewater design that handles the waves better than a lake style. Water was comfortable to be in when it was shallow, deep was cold. It was a bucket list trip and I’d do it again in a second !
