oh totally, it's the same humor type and animation style. Similar voice tone as well. Lots of similarities . I saw Lok as a sort of James May, calmed , composed but more reserved and older tastes. But that chemistry is gone from the show since Kai is in the UK.

I need to stop reading the comments on videos testing high end cameras. Not every camera will be perfectly suited for you, because other people have other requirements believe it or not. This is for fast action, it's a very specialised camera and that's why it costs so much. If you don't feel you need the features this camera offers, or even think other cameras offers more compelling features, then buy something else.

Just connect the live view output of the 1Dx to your retina cables and use that as you're eyes. Now your vision has a screenshoot function and you can see in the dark better than most people once you crank the ISO up. EyeSO

Was really hoping you'd go into the video aspect a little more. I'm interested to see how it compares to the Panasonic GH4 or Sony a7S II since the bitrate is so high. But I guess without V-LOG, that says a lot. Disappointing. Hopefully the 5D Mark IV will be 4K.

well, it isnt exactly a video camera. Its main use is shooting sports and id assume the only reason it has a video feature is so it actually has video. And i'm gonna assume the 5d mk4 will have 4k

Well it's two different worlds really. The 1DX line is a speed stills demon. It's nowhere near the competition in video but so is the D5 with its laughable 3 minutes limit in 4K. But we don't see any GH4 nor A7 in Rio for sports , it's not their purpose. The 1DX is the pinnacle of Canon for autofocus and burst speed , same for the D5 from Nikon. Comparing a7s and GH4 is comparing two different markets really. Just my 2 cents.

Those 1200 shots per charge are for when you press the shutter-release button for every single shot. In burst mode, you get way more shots.

This is a great video, and a great camera. I think, when shooting prop planes, the shutter speed needs to be a little slower in order to show a little motion of the prop. That being said, I haven't done it.

Very surprised that no one mentions the fact that it has 4k 60fps. I mean it adds a lot of value in my opinion to people that need good quality video. The 5D Mark IV only goes up to 30fps, makes slow motion more difficult. This camera is great with that 14fps shooting, I mean i dont know why people complain, if you do some type of photography that involves a lot of movement or low light situation, this camera is perfect. 61 af points also very important. But then again, if you have to buy this camera, make sure you re making some money with your results.

Great video. Kai and PJB - A Team to Rival Kai and Lok. It's Biggles and Ginger all over again. And Ron is such a great character too, so much better than Greg! As for the T-shirts, I think they could sell well. Love the venue too. I am off to Eastbourne next weekend for the Airshow but I doubt I will get such good shots with my D7100 or X-Pro2 but going to try. Oh, and there was a camera review in there wasn't there? ATG/Sony said Canon and Nikon will be in trouble. They were right & correct. ATG/Sony SLT-A99 II will be here in 2017. B&H Photo and other have reduced the canon eos-1d c (canon's true top-of-the line, not the 1d x ii or 1d x). Camera stores are now upset that they can't make a $3,000.00+ profit from you. Canon EOS-1D C is under $4,500.00. Best to buy the EOS-1D C over the EOS-1D X II, unless you know nothing about videos.
