What tools are available for sensor alignment? How much do they cost?

My 5d iii suddenly won't power on. Sometimes when I pulling out the battery and putting it back makes camera on. Again next time it won't. Tried with different batteries. Same thing. Could you please tell me whats wrong with it? Thanks

sometimes the micro switch near to the battery cover is the problem..it should be open the contact when you close the cover...the micro swictch is normally close position

also clean the battery contacts. luckily, on my 600d i broke the switch in such a way that its always closed. thus it doesnt matter if the lid is closed or not. sure as hell makes life easier. honestly idk why they even bother with putting the switch there

im putting a mark of each side of the sensor before i removed the three screw

Sir i have Canon 200 mark ii some day before when i turn on my camera i got error 20 and mirror do some sound then i visit a local service shop, he disassemble my camera and properly clear with a cleaning liquid then he assembled it, now camera is on when i pressed live view button then error 30 is showing, please tell what can i do & whats the problem ?????

Wow. Are the screws all the same size? Taking apart is one thing, but how you put them back together with so many different screws and small parts is mind blowing. Is there a systematic way to do this?

there are different screw sizes sir..by year of experience in the field of work.. sorting of screw is important from outside and inside also the area where it place...

Nice repair!Congrats!I have a problem with my 5D3, "cannot communicate with battery" appears.My Canon was faulty,i changed the board from the bottom,now it works perfectly,i only have this problem with communication battery...Do you have an idea or where i could check?

may be the chip at the bottom board is deffective...

how do you copy the shutter blade??

i use the damage blade and put it to the pvc sheet then trace it to shape of the blade that been damage

but then how are you able to reattach the blade to the curtain??

@@gideonadziakpor6624 i used its original rivets and lock the replacement blade that i make..i carefully lift the edge of the rivet and avoid breaking it,but doing this i used a microscope..

my canon 5D mark 3 is giving me Error code 20 the shutter will tick 3 times then the screens go's to Error 20 sometimes i can get it to to turn on and go in to live view and if i take a picture the shutter will drop and it looks like it gets stuck it go's all the way ticks 3 times stops ticks another 3 times then shoots back upward then Error Code 20

@@nickwrotenphotography879 if you can disassemble and assemble the camera try to clean the timing switch just be aware to the alignment of the image sensor and the mechanism of the shutter, sometimes the error cause of poor contact of brush of the motor..when i repair the camera i clean the contract of both motors..

Hi Friend, I've a problem with drain battery with my 5D 3...it take 36 hours for the battery IS empty...I replace the MO4 chip,but the problem is still there...😔.Do you have an Idea?
