Literally just bought one of these, my first camera, got one in very nice condition for very cheap (£130!) This video is what I needed, the manual and quickstart guide were so confusing, this was super helpful though - the Q button is what I was missing!

Hi, I'm really thankful for the quick and easy explanation that a newbie like me can easily digest. one question though, what image format (save file, raw, rawm, etc.) would you recommend if I gonna take shots for 1 week holiday ? it will mainly focus on people as object and some landmark shots. thanks once again mate 😊

On my 7d, I can’t use the tiny toggle joystick to move around to the aperture, iso, and shutter speed in the Front screen like you did at the beginning. Do I have to update firmware, I’m on the older 1.2.1.

Is there a way to switch it so my camera focuses thru the veiwfinder pressing the shutter half way? The only way it will clear focus is thru the back button AF-on.

You cant....switch back to photo mode...change the setting and reset to film mode...or put on manuel and you make iso, shutter, aperture changes

Check what spec it is. Check the shutter count. If its low. You should get about £300-400 maybe depending on the local currency

I just bought this camera and I rely heavily on exposure compensation. I see no way to adjust my exposure compensation before taking a photo. Can you help me? Also I want to be able to shoot in continuous mode, (Not single shot. How do I adjust that setting? When I want to make adjustments in the menu, the screen says "Register in my menu format." What does that mean? Thank you for your help.

I would get a mirrorless now. CANON R5/R6. 7D is a great camera but a little old now. 5d is defo a better buy more focal points, sensor, full frame, 4k and wifi

Way to fast and not showing & explain at same time. Can't tell what finger where you pressed. Need to show and explain a lot slower . Most are watching because they have no idea what is what ad for what. Please do one that is slowed down in explaining and explain more to each. Thus is only for people already knowing about cameras just has a different one. This is not for new people just learning to operate a csmera

This is a MILLION MILES from a "settings tutorial" for this camera. It's merely gives the names of the items possibly viewed in the quick control screen. No explanations of any of those items, only "select the one you want". Consider giving your videos titles that are representative of the actual content put forth. Doing so shows that you're interested in giving people what they obviously came here for and that's accurate information. Otherwise you'll be seen as only fishing for views and publishing clickbait, IMO.
