dont think it works without purchasing external software, as ventura is not supported and airprint needs network which this oldish scanner does not have

mine doesn't start scanning one i open the scanner in my settings? it just says there is no image or scanner selected. do you have ay idea why this might be?

he must be using an older mac os, as the newer OS are not supported based on canon website

I bought It last month. Mac OS Monterery works. no need to install software. @@kitminlee9169

That macbook is from the stone age...no way this is working for system within the last 4 years.
