I used first time DSLR two days ago, by luck it was 6d mii with 70200 , when I turned focus ring to defocus video , it automatically slowly got focus. That was magic..

Unfortunately, all AF points are clustered or too centered in middle position, thus, it is really hard to focus something or someone moving out of this area....

Terrific videos - thank you. Are you aware that Focus Lock does not work in Manual? Only fully-auto and (most of) the Basic Zone modes. This appears to be an awful oversight on Canon's part. Can anything be doe? Software fix? I did call Canon's tech support and they logged my call... but it's just another comment that's unlikely to go anywhere.

How in video shot, we can focus two or three objects or all objects in the video?

Hi! If you're trying to focus on multiple objects that are different distances from your lens, you can try tightening up your aperture by making the f-stop number higher. That will increase your depth of field and it will allow you to focus on those objects more easily. Hope this helps!

Hi Erika! You can connect a smartphone or other mobile device to the camera over Wi-Fi and use the Canon Camera Connect app to trigger the camera remotely. You find out more about how to set this up by downloading the EOS 6D Mark II Wi-Fi manual from usa.canon.com We hope this helps!

Like the first 6D, does the 6D mark ii show you where you hit focus on the photo playback screen? I have the 6d mark ii and on the 2nd tab 3rd page of the menu there is an option "AF Point Dips." I would assume this is what I wanted, I enabled it but I still don't see the little red square where my focus was. Is there anything that I'm doing wrong? or does this camera even have that feature? Thanks.

Hi Carlos. On the EOS 6D Mark II, enabling [AF Point Disp] is the correct way to have the AF point that was used to achieve focus displayed in red. Try pressing the INFO button to cycle through the information that is displayed on the screen until it appears. We hope this helps!

Hi Shyam. Focusing in live view uses the image sensor and Dual-Pixel Autofocus, while focusing with the viewfinder uses the separate AF sensor, so the methods are not the same. canon br-e1 does not work with 6D Mark II when shooting video is that correct? I have set camera to Video and my canon br-e1 to Video setting but noting happen. Can you help what i did wrong

Hi there. The BR-E1 remote is compatible with movie shooting with the EOS 6D Mark II. Simply set the release mode/movie shooting switch to the movie position, then press the release button. I’m really sorry I bought this camera, I don’t recommend this for weddings or events, autofocus is a real issue, I had the 5dMkii before this and it was a lot better, it’s a really disappointing camera, sounds good on paper, doesn’t work well on real world, It’s not reliable.

​@@CanonUSA thanks for the response, I'm pretty sure there's nothing wrong with the camera or how I'm using it, its just not very good comparing to other canon models, I shoot with canon for about 8 years but i don't really like what your doing right now, its to late i'm selling all my canon gear and already made my way into the Sony system that works better for me.
