2024. Just got this camera with serveral lenses sold on Market Place and in immaculate condition. Beginning my photography journey. I dabbled at Uni learning the basics in class but now I want to learn and do things. This video has been so helpful for the basics of setting things up to begin. Thank you!

@@kaurtuule I really like it and would reccomend! The touch screen is nice and it's relatively easy to figure out how to use it. If you want to do videos note that the autofocus is loud so you will need an STM lens that focuses silently. I didn't realise that when I bought it and had to spend more money on another lens

@@kaurtuule No problem, I'm glad I could help 😊 I got a second hand 10-18mm STM lens and it was about £150 I think. You can get STM lenses cheaper though, if you just do a quick Google search you will be able to see what options are available. Would reccomend getting second hand stuff if you can because it's better for the environment and cheaper than new equipment but usually like new.

I got one at Christmas, only used it twice and after a few seconds the screen goes black, I charged the battery thinking it was that but it still does it, I used these cameras at uni and they never did it so I don’t get why it does it and I’ve only used it twice so it can’t be broken

it depends on how you buy it, if it says "body only" then it does not come with a lens. if you buy it with "kit lens" it does come with a 18mm 55mm STM lens. got mine today.. its pretty awesome

When I start the video, it can only record for a maximum of 16 seconds and then the recording stops automatically. I've tried this several times and the same thing happens each time. How do I take videos for as long as 10-15 minutes?

I've never heard of this problem I'm afraid - it may be something that you need to take to a camera shop! Only thing I can think of is if your memory card is full? But that wouldn't allow multiple 16 seconds recordings. Sorry!

+Divya Nanwani you need to format your SD card first and when you activate the video mode go to menu and on the fifth column you will find a option below called video snapshot and make sure you disable it

This is late and by now youve probably figured out the problem but its your camera memory card. If you want longer videos, buy a memory card that is 'class 10' =) hope i helped

It's a good camera for youtube !! But pretty expensive for a beginner in youtube you could better begin with a powershot from canon Those are around €150,- and are good quality

I started off using my iPad mini 4 to film videos . the quality was pretty decent check out my channel to see my videos . I recently brought this camera the 700d it arrived yesterday it cost me about £400 and something so its not cheap I wouldn't suggest starting out with it if your kinda new to making videos . The camera can support all standard SD memory cards! However I recommend 16gb and having more than one card. With usage the cards can wear down and fail, so continuously swap them over and remember to save them to your computer!

+Asif Ali Go to your menu, tools (wrench icon) and go to the third item down, "Camera User Setting." (assuming you've already set your 7D the way you want to remember it.) You can then use register and set from there. Once you know where to look, it's fairly self explanatory. Good luck.

Hi, i just bought it today, from sharaf DG, it costed me 2699 AED with 18-55mm STM lens, camera bg, tripod 8GB SD card. 3 years canon warranty and 1 year free service. i bought from DELMA MALL, SHARAF DG. you can buy from PLUG IN as well from marina mall but they dont have this in stock. i could not find this in stock anywhere. There is another shop ALFALAK in Al Wahda Mall. they are selling it to and will give you discount as well. Do ask them if they have in stock. Even i had to wait 1-2 days to get it.
