Already pre-ordered and I can't wait to get my EOS R3. Hopefully the front buttons (where DOF button would be) can be programmed to temporarily "unlock" controls when the "lock" is enabled. This was my favorite feature of the 5D Mk4, and I really missed having it on the EOS R and EOS R5. Hopefully the EOS R3 will allow this simple yet powerful feature.

What happened to touch and drag? For the money, as well as for those who got used to R5 and R6 methods of moving the focus selection, I think Canon should enable this feature. That way, the shooter’s intent will be interpreted and realized, instead of the shot being missed. I plan to use the R3 along with my R5, so I hope they enable this in case my brain forgets which camera I’m using in the thick of the action

I found the AF ON button far too sensitive when using back button AF for birds and disabled it. Was causing me more problems than it was meant to fix.

The removal of the Touch & Drag feature in R3 makes it difficult to use simultaneously with the R6 camera. I use both cameras at the same time to shoot events, so I don't have to constantly change lenses, and I really miss the Touch & Drag feature in the R3 because I otherwise have both cameras set up the same, so I don't have to constantly deal with the differences in AF controls. Can CANON return Touch & Drag to the R3?

Hi Rudy…. Please, please let engineering know i prefer to have the vertical function on-off button as a switch on the R1, please. Having to go into the menu for such a critical function is indeed a step backwards. If anything, perhaps a no nonsense auto-on/off simply by turning the camera from horizontal to vertical and back if “ no switch” is a necessity. Thank you.

I completely agree. As a Canon shooter since the 20D, I always use a battery grip and it's handy to have the ON/OFF switch for the grip. Digging through a menu system isn't ideal. It's not something I need often, but when I do need it, I want instant access to it, so a mechanical switch seems ideal.

and IBIS high resolution, and horse eye AF detect...I mean, come on, the R3 is the current Canon flagship and lower end cameras are getting released with updates that should be also coming to the flagship...terrible support from Canon.

Hello, eos R3 - raw video slog 3, I cannot get a clear image at 800 and 1600 ISO. Do you think this is normal? My exposure is correct, I tried at least 3 different programs. As a result, I cannot get rid of the noise. Is there a raw workflow you can recommend? Thanks

I will have thousands of 30 fps bursts on my CF card and I would like a very quick way to navigate and review them. "Jump to burst" mode will help get me to the first frame of each burst, but I would like to play through them at 30fps (like a video) so I can quickly review the moment I captured. This will be extremely helpful since most of my bursts will be 5 seconds long. I would also like a similar feature available on my desktop using Adobe Bridge. Instead of seeing 150 thumbnails I would like to see only the first frame of the burst. Hovering my cursor over the thumbnail will allow me to scrub that burst like a video clip.
