Great Training Jem, James, I-m so glad Canon is encouraging filmmakers to show how their products work, this is an amazing way to understand the settings and scenarios where you can use them.

Thanks for another amazing video, please ask the tech team if we might ever get a slomo frame rate bump. It has the potential for much higher than 120FPS

Great job Canon, James and Jem! Glad to see Canon has not given up on the R5C. Hoping Canon would create a better battery just for the R5C in the future that can give us a longer record time, yes keeping the camera the same size.

Quite happy to see this series! Much needed for this powerful camera. Is there a video discussing Canon RAW Light in detail for post-production? Been scouring the web looking for info on that w no luck.

Thank you guys. You forgot about RAW HQ (5952x1340) opportunity in SUPER 35/16mm. Love these videos as a beginner. Great work!

Its nice to shoot virtical on both my C70, R5C and actually also fine on my R3... But please make the cameras OPEN GATE so we dont have to shoot everything twice... Its a bummer when smaller and cheaper cameras lige the panasonic makes it so much faster to just reframe everything without any hurdle after the fact. OPEN GATE please! pretty please

So the menus can also be flipped to vertical on the R3 in video mode? Is it automatic or do you have to set it up in the menu like they show here on R5C? By the way +1 on open-gate mode!

Now that im thinking of it im not sure that the R3 has vertical menues on the screen, but it has for the viewfinder if you enable it in the "shooting info. disp." But the R5C and C70 I have it set to button 9 to change it nice and easy. Maybe they could make so that i could in a software update :P @@fotomaton7852

@@fotomaton7852I have the exact same question My camera menus do not move. I shoot vertically all the time and my menu stays horizontal.
@BillyLaMug8 ай бұрын
For vertical, is there a setting to auto rotate orientation when opening it in post? I could do it on my R6 but the R5C I couldn't find that setting. I'm able to rotate the OSD but opening it in post it never auto rotate its orientation. I could always rotate it 90 degree in post but its an extra step :(

Are you going to add a wifi connection for video mode ?

I have heard that in slowmo (120fps) sound record is possible in the R5C?!
