Even if it's her view and opinion, why would you publish this video again, you should know that it contains false information about how the camera is working, you could make a statement and correct the false information, or tell her to shoot another video. But instead canon shares this content on all plattforms and a few days later a commet appears saying "it's all her opinion". You can have a different view of how an AF System works, but how it works is a physical fact, so if your saying it works differently than it actually does it's false information.

Resolution that large exists 10 years ago... I understand some people are new on this but it´s nothing new. I would love to see dynamic range tests. Studio lighting is easy to control, lets see how the R5 performs in sunlight and flashes. That´s when the camera proves what it´s made of.

The details are heavily produced in post processing software. Even though the camera might be a beast, the images are processed heavily!! And what she says about the focus is crap. The lens focus on a single focus plane, if all the dogs laying down at roughly the same spot and setting the lens at f/8, even a Kodac film camera from the 60’s will produce a sharp image and all the puppies will be in focus! So please don’t try to deceive people!

@danielkumar51954 жыл бұрын
Sorry but this is nonsense, it's not possible to focus at more than one point at the same time. The camera can recognize all subjects but there is always only one focus point per picture, for everything else you would to have use stacking. So it makes no difference if you focus on one dog or all. The focus level will be for one particular point. And of course when you are using f8 and they are all more or less the same distance from the camera they will all be in focus, but that has nothing to do with the AF tracking more than one point at once, in the end it has to decide for one focus level, only thing the camera can to, when you set the aperture to auto, that it can stop down to get a larger area in focus.
@arthur30384 жыл бұрын
Daniel.. you might be right/wrong. it does make a difference on what ideal distance 'on wich dog' focus will be (even with f8 (depending also on the lens type)). A smart algorithm could calculate the 'ideal' point of focus to have the whole scene 'in descent focus' (that is what we do or did manually so far) So maybe what she said, may make sense - it is a hope at least -

F8 usually is wide depth of field, plus the two chickens and the little lady face are in the same depth. That's why everything was in focus.
@arthur30384 жыл бұрын
F8 is a wide depth of field???? Sorry pal, that is soooo relativ.. Example: Nose and a eyes are rarely on the same depth .. maybe time to experiment a bit more ?
@Hilal_abdelilah4 жыл бұрын
Arthur if the “f8” not a wide depth of field, then what about f 1,2? I think f4 is enough to have a clear eyes and noise when you are shooting portraits.

Hey Iron Iron, coinciding with the EOS R5 launch, we announced a new longer life battery supplied with EOS R5 and EOS R6: the LP-E6NH. Compatible with all existing cameras that use the LP-E6 series batteries, the LP-E6NH replaces LP-E6N, with an increased capacity of 14% reaching 2130mAh. If you'd like more information of product specifications like this and others, please visit the product page at www.canon.com.au/cameras/eos-r5.

True, this woman seems to know nothing about cameras and is just praising the camera, without even knowing what she is talking about. This video may impress people which don't understand the basic of photography but it's advertising a pro camera for over 3000$
@stuartcrofts88604 жыл бұрын
Ahhhhhh yes, this is annoying me too, she's also saying that it can track and keep both the focus on two dog faces at the same time, which is not true. It tracks one and gives you the option to switch to the other one, unless she's saying the cam adjusts the aperture to keep both of the faces in focus... that is something that I've wanted I'm my cameras for some time but everything seems to be shot at f.8. also it's not just the cam that gives the sharpness, majority of that is down to the lens. I really like the work she did but the script is grating me, if everything is shot at f.8 under controlled light with posed subjects, yeah it's all going to be in focus...

@arthur30384 жыл бұрын
francois i am afraid, you have no clue: On the short: In photography, 'in focus' is practically married to sharpness. An image that is completely sharp is said to be in-focus. and visa versa..etc.. etc.. Plus: A smart algorithm could calculate the 'ideal' point of focus to have the whole scene 'in descent focus/sharpness' (that is what we do or did manually so far) So maybe what she said, may make sense
