Erin's was great, but I love how Charles made a gorgeous shot from a place that even I can go to. The Dolomites are superb, but very little beats that feeling of, "I made a local place look just as exotic as the expensive and far away travel shot."

Both are outstanding photos but I have to go with Charles. Of course, I may be biased a little bit, I love the Blue Ridge Parkway and photograph there as often as I can.

Beautiful on both parts. I would have been quite pleased with either. I have specific questions about how Charles exposed for all 3 - valley, midrange and sky. Then, the post production work. Could you further elaborate or point me in the direction of Explorer of light with discusses this technique? I am sure it's not rocket science but I love learning on KZbin. Thanks.
