hey man interesting that you say so while i just watched a review on how the fuji x100x is the best and everything but its 1500+$... lol . and I have the m50 ( without the 22 mm lens, I have to buy it. )point is. - can it really be matched by quality standards to the x100v? there's a huge price difference, I wonder if it all comes from branding and marketing .

canon m50 with the 22mm f2 pancake is best budget combo I have the fuji xt2 and I can say image quality is comparable, but canon m50 + 22mm f2 beats fuji x100x in price and versatility.

Depends on your distance with the subject your focusing. F4 is a good start. 🙂

how do you find this lens in comparison with the 50mm one?

hi, they are different lenses, the 22mm is a native lens for the canon m50, it doesnt need an adapter. you can shoot wider shots like Landscape s and it is sharper. the 50mm is a good lens as well, it is better if you prefer portraits or mid telephoto lens. it is nice for street photography as well. You can have both. 🤓
