I have a G6 and the manual gives the max shutter speed as 15". Its a great little camera, small enough to put in a jacket pocket, good for point and shoot with the addition of many professional features. The picture quality is all that is necessary for the base function that I have used it for over the last 17 years. The only change in that time has been the capacity of the CF cards that have gone from 1GB to 128GB. I have recently got back into more photography and have revitalised the G6 with the addition of a 0.7 wide angle and 1.75 tele converters that are now ridiculously cheap for mint examples (£16.50 and £9.50 respectively!) giving a range of 24.5mm to 245mm..

@@calligraphyhub7119 don't know as I have never done it. Down loading images via a mobile when this camera was brought out was a rare operation and I doubt we had even 3G back then. You can download the images to a computer via a usb link but the manual only deals with that up to Wndows XP. I always download via a CF card reader.

I bought this camera in the late 90's but it's been sitting unused for decades. While cleaning my room, I noticed it again and struggled with whether I should get a new battery for it. The aftermarket charger with 2 batteries was only about $30, so I decided to go for it. They haven't arrived yet, but we will see if it still works.

How are you liking it so far? I just got one recently because I like how the image quality reminds me a lot of film. But haven't had a chance yet to test it out.

I have not tested the G6, but once I do I plan on uploading some sample photos. The G6 does have film like image quality from sample photos that I have seen.
