Yeah fam, I personally don’t shoot Canon but I have a friend who does and he create amazing videos with the r7, the slow motion is great on it.

I’m debating between R7 or R8.. please I need an advice.. this will be my first camera. I want it for videos, livestream and travel photography. Thanks.
@CAMphotography_Ай бұрын
@@shaulgovea6699 both great cameras for all the above. I would still recommend r7 for these reasons. 1. Bigger and longer lasting battery 2. Better ergonomics and a better in hand feel 3. Dual slot SD cards for redundancy in case one fails 4. 7k downsampled to 4k for sharper video 5. Crop sensor gives you a bit more reach which is great for travel photography 6. R7 has in body image stabilization. R8 does not 7. Never had an issue with canon r7 overheating. Even recording 4k in 95 degree weather

I shoot with the R7 and I’ve had it for 5 months and I’ve made about 3,000 with it.

I think this is such a subjective subject! I believe a true photographer can make any camera work - I do however understand where you’re coming from. One of the random things like that like, you mentioned, is how it fits into your hands. The body shape just works so well.

I use a Canon ef 10-22 (16-35.2 equivalent) in my r7 and enjoyed every second.

The R8 tiny battery kills it for me- Lp-e6 variants OR NO not ok. I have an R5 I shoot Red Gemini I cant go below that one threshold... the battery tells you who Canon gears it to... thus R7 is semi-pro(Ie prosumer) remember Canon only considers its cameras with integrated grips as "pro" even my R5 is pro-sumer and the R10 or R8 are high end CONSUMER
@CAMphotography_16 күн бұрын
@@NoSuRReNDeR001 heard that. I’m coming from the place of what the camera can do. 33 mp. Dual slot. High fps. 10bit 4:2:2 and CLOG 3. Pro codecs all around in my opinion. But I hear what you’re saying

I didn't have the R7 but I've had the M50 and I have two R50's which are both crop sensors. They take exceptional photos. I think the R7 has an edge as it has a higher fps.
@CAMphotography_5 ай бұрын
My first camera was the R50. Wonderful camera. Takes great photos and video. CLOG, fps, mp, and recording limit, and battery life were main factors for the switch to the R7

@nabeelr64 the light is a needddd. The one thing that deterred me from the r7 was the crop sensor, went with the r6 instead.
