Sad that this is the last one in this range. 😢 It seems that 2019 was the last time that any new pocket super zoom which is a shame as it is a feature you can’t get on a phone. 😳🤠

Very nice! I have been using a much older SX700 .. so both cameras have many improvements! It's nice to see that Canon has been keeping this line going! It might be time for me to upgrade!

Nice tip at 8:34 about the credit card. I'm looking at the 740 myself, since in South Africa they are closely priced, so I figure might as well go for the 4K model.

I’m looking for a compact point and shoot with super zoom as I do African wildlife photography and want something smaller than DSLR at times! This seems like good choice especially if I can do moon shots too!

Can you mount them on tripod without extension?To not break the LCD-screen or the lens,that it maybe pushes against the quick release plate like the Sony RX100?Thanx

Yes. I use a Swiss Arca tripod mounting plate all the time - no issue with the flip up screen. I do have to remove the plate to swap camera batteries but that should be expected on such a compact camera. =Cosmo
