Cant Trim NVIDIA Recorded Videos Fix

This problem happened to both my old and new computer for quite a long time. I was 60fps, and when I switched to 30fps it's perfectly fixed. Thank you!!

Aye I had the same problem because i changed the recording settings in the past. The thing is a haven't make the connection between nvidia shadowplay and the photo/video player until i saw your video. In mine, ( PC GTX1070 and I7770k and 32gb) + windows 10, case I had to change from 60fps to 30fps in order to fix it. Thanks mate.

For me it’s only working if you set capture to 30FPS, I can’t use 60 or 120. This sucks!

@AlexanderBedon im soryy that it only works 30 fps for you, if you can figure out the reason why it does that and if you find a fix, please make a video and post it to help anyone that may have the same problem

Hey. managed to know the reason for that. if you have a 4K monitor, and capturing in 4K and 60fps it'll never trim, thus either go 4k@30fps or 2K@60fps. was driving me nuts, hope it works for you.

oh my god i’ve been looking for a fix for this for literal YEARS i skipped on windows 11 for as long as i could because it wouldn’t work when i’d trim, and then it stopped working randomly on windows 10 so i just gave up and stopped clipping things you’re the goat thank you so much nevermind i spoke too soon. changed my obs settings to 60 fps and it still kept buffering, probably because i record at ultrawide but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Can't trim 60 fps either, only 30. Resolution is 3440*1440.

Maybe the software isnt updated yet to eork with 3440 1440p. Try captut, its free and bery easy to work and works with pretty much everything
