When you have genius drummers like Gavin Harrison saying he was massively influenced by Steve's rhythmical design, you know Steve is good! I always wanted to be a drummer because of Steve Jansen (but ended up a guitarist!), so I love watching your Japan covers. Really takes me back. Thanks so much Tim!

I've learnt a lot trying to emulate Steve's playing and I've being listening to Japan ever since they started out. I've listened closely to try to work out how things are played and they are sometimes different to how I'd imagined. I know some is electroinics and possible overdubs.
