Hi.....Can I put my Loewe See 55 on this sounddeck which is smaller than my television?

Hello Frank, you can put a load of up to 40 kilograms on the sounddeck, as long as the TV is still stable in terms of size.

hi i have just purchased the sounddeck 100 gen 2 here in sweden and while i am recieving wonderful atmos sound from the canton via my 4k bluray player and the canton displays dolby atmos..the canton registers only "dolby surround movie" from netflix, disney and hbo max atmos movies. my tv has 4 hdmi arc.. the bluray has regular hdmi connections and yet no problem. you say in the above video to use arc( which i have) or even regular hdmi BUT the store is now saying the tv must have eARC in order to send atmos to the canton. very confused and frustrated as i retired my dm 75 for the smart 100's dolby atmos feature.any advice much appreciated.

Please check the audio output format of your source devices such as TV, 4K Bluray player etc.. Is it possibly set to "PCM" or "Downmix"? You have to change it to "Dolby", "Bitstream" or "Auto". The Gen. 2 Sounddeck 100 already has the eARC interface. Even if it is not explicitly stated on the device. Best regards, Your Canton Team

@@cantonlautsprecher thanks for the fast reply....but the guys at the store are saying at the end of the day if the TV Doesn't have eARC then it will NOT pass atmos to the gen 2 regardless. The above video gives the opposite impression....as it says connect the hdmi to the ARC connection on your TV. after buying the canton it seems a brand new tv is the only fix for sending ANY atmos to the canton🙄

@@gaelswed Of course your TV must support eARC HDMI output as well to fully loop through Dolby atmos content. Nevertheless a standard ARC interface can also play Atmos content as long as the movie is in Dolby Digital Plus data stream. Then Dolby Atmos is included in Dolby Digital Plus even though the display only shows Dolby Digital Plus. However, any of the three HDMI inputs support Dolby Atmos. Greetings from your Canton team
