I got it with the big subwoofer and 2 extra speakers for sourround, its a great setup but in hindsight spending the same amount on a conventional setup wouldve been better

I recently bought this sounddeck. It is impossible to get anything out of the external subwoofer. This one is connected via rca on the sub out and goes to my Magnat sub. In the menu I changed my sub to 'wired'. Unfortunately no bass coming out, I tried various subs. Canton does not reply. What am I doing wrong? Maybe the sub out is broken?

I am not sure, but have you tried to play content with the LFE channel i.e. Dolby Digital or Atmos.

Yes I did. No signal to the sub.
