This is literally how I been doing my hair for ages. Never really combed it, only in the shower ONLY with conditioner. Then I would finger rake my product in to my hair. 1 or 2 products max, then sometimes would use a wide tooth comb to distribute the product evenly and twost bottom. Then scrunch then i would air dry (if i had the time) or a diffuser 30-60 mins after applying products (to speed up the drying process.) This was when curly hair wasn't a thing, but I always got compliments on my hair. Now fast forward to the curly hair era, I saw all new vids pop up and new techniques on how to get the best curls. When I followed their routine, I swear my hair was weighed down, too greasy and not defined and not really lookin good at all. Got all the expensive products they recommended too. Man oh man, I went back to my basics and should have never took advice fr others when I knew how "my own hair" worked. As they say, "Dont fix what aint broke" So now Im back to my hair routine, simple and to the point lol. And I have u hair texture too, so happy to find your page!!🎉

i use the same leave in conditioning cream but with shea butter! i want to get the curl activation cream too. the leave in conditioner works well with my hair type but it's not to my liking if that makes sense. im not sure how to give my hair more life, idk if I need to try more new products or I need to get a hair cut, but I try so many products and nothing is perfect. Idk xo

Careful, the leave in conditioner I assumed was like most of their products: sulfate, silicone and paraben free. Sadly found not 1 but 2 silicone's and 1 sulfate just in the leave in argan oil conditioner. Sucks cause I already spent my money on it expecting not to have any in.

What do you do to your hair on every other day? Like do you still wet in the shower and then use a cantu leave-in conditioner or something? I've been using an Australian "natural" (or so I thought) daily-use conditioner for years and all of a sudden, it's just damaged my hair SO bad! Looking into using Cantu, but because I've conditioned every single day for years, I don't know what to do to my hair on non-wash-days! Like my hair always feels yuck and dry and brittle if I don't use conditioner every single day in the shower.

sarah K I use some Cantu products and I recommend using the define and shine custard. I just flip my head down immediately after I wash my hair and then I apply it in sections and scrunch.

For me the argan oil conditioner fr cantu seems lighter and doesn't Weigh my culrs down. The one with shea butter is too heavy for my curls. Hope that helps!
