DISCLAIMER! I've made a mistake! 😩🙈 I was just told that the "Cantu Leave In Conditioning Repair Cream" has silicone! FAIL I got it confused with the "Cantu Leave In Conditioning Cream" which IS paraben, sulfate and silicone free! I didn't even know there were 2 versions of the Leave In! 🤷🏽‍♀️ I personally would swap it for the one without silicone, I'm sure your results will turn out just as good if not better! 😁👍🏽

For the people asking for 4c hair, it’s the same concept. Use conditioner, make sure hair stays wet, don’t dry it. Add a moisturizer (the moisturizer isn’t necessary if you use the conditioner, you could use either) rough it up a bit, back and forth motion. If you have a nice sized fro, shaking your head around will help. The curls will appear, do it for a few minutes you will see the curls. Finish it off with eco styling gel, rub it in well and evenly like with your moisturizer/conditioner. Your hair will have white curls while the hair is wet, the product will dry clear. WET HAIR IS KEY, DO IT IN THE SHOWER OR HAVE A SPRAY BOTTLE HANDY.

I literally do this and my hair remains frizzed. Zero curls form. Even the shake method (which I've stopped doing because I notice I get dizzy after doing so and I'm pretty sure that's not safe) never worked. Idk if I need to manually twist them or if my hair's just not long enough, but the only difference I ever notice is the fact that my hair is a bit softer after the routine lol

Final tip for yall! After applying the curling cream run a lil bit of Cantu Twist and Lock Gel in ya hair to hold it all together! As a college student my hair would fall out throughout the day, but once I used the Twist gel it would keep tight all day

It’s flat when you wake up. Once you get in the shower, you’re gonna wet it and use products to wash it and stuff. If it’s not your wash day then just soak your hair in the shower and rake your hair through all around and you should be fine

Any way to avoid using so much product...I workout and sweat a lot; obviously when I sweat the product is all over my forehead, although not noticeable. The sweat gets in my eye at times. I have resorted to using only olive oil and leave in conditioner, which works well, less product, but does not define my curls...they look dry. Advice?

For 3c/4a type hair, which is this guy, you just need to daily moisturize with a little water and maybe leave in conditioner, but once a week or two weeks you should do a wash day where you do all this stuff and deeply moisturize

Only Cantu's natural line appears to be curly friendly. However, you still have to watch those products too bc their coconut curling cream says that it has no mineral oil in it, but the fourth ingredient is petrolatum and mineral is made from petroleum so just be careful. Btw your curls are popping young man. The NC site has a very comprehensive ingredient list.
