Kuzmenko may not have English completely figured out, but he's absolutely nailed sounding completely adorable and lovable. I know that he's got to work on his game, but I think the Vancouver fanbase is pretty united in their support for him. He seems like such a great guy. Also, I just love this channel. The endings just keep getting better and better.

It requires a lot of effort, but doable. try a word a day. surround yourself with the language around you. Also, millions of people have learned other languages, many speak 2 or more. if they can do it, so do you !

Tip, when learning another language, don't think about your native language whatsoever. Use pictures to begin learning words, and listen and read whole sentences to begin learning the gramar

@@arizimal , Thanks for helping him out and good pointers. It easier said than done because that is the only way you have been trained to think. So its a challenge. like if you only learned to cook eggs sunny side up, once they ask to have it boiled, scrabbled, over easy, its seems very strange at first, but once you get to it, you will wonder why you did not learned it a long time ago and you become more understanding and tolerant of a variety of approaches and views.

He’s trying his best, but coming over at 27 years of age to go directly to the NHL is different than coming to play junior with North American billets to help ease into the culture. You can see the anxiety and homesickness is getting to him at times. He’s a big boy and will ultimately prevail. But it’s way tougher than he could have imagined.

The interviewer apparently made very little to no effort to use simpler words or enunciate so that Kuzmenko would have a better chance of understanding.

Learning a language is hard, I can’t even keep a Duolingo streak for more than 4 days, trying to learn and play in the NHL is something i could never do

I don't understand zero words 🎉 It's better that way trust me 😂 I know exactly wtf they are saying and I wish I could pretend I didn't sometimes. It's usually ignorant so it's your bliss my friend.
