I would be hesitant about giving Hronek anything over 7 especially having Wilander coming down the pipeline.

Dillon would be a good add to replace Z. Bring back Cole and Meyers on cap friendly contracts. They might have to pay Hronek a bit over but since they gave up a 1st and 2nd to get him they’ve got to make it pay. Lindholm walks, opens up cap space and they get the coveted winger to play with EP

Z will have to set aside a few mill on his ask to stay here. 4.25x4 max. 4x5. That money'll come back to him in spades by being a team first guy, for he'll be increasingly lionized by the market who already loves him.

Hopefully this guy can talk some sense into the fanbase. The fanbase goes ok ship out Hronek for Necas and you obviously sign Z and Joshua for whatever they're asking and it's spend spend spend for role guys. You can't lock up top 9 players and top 4/bottom pairing dmen unless it makes sense financially. You need these guys, but you can't write a blank cheque.

Ian Cole scored too many own goals in the playoffs. Unfortunate but stick and positioning around the blue paint was terrible.

Nobody ia getting Zadorov for 4 million. He'll get 5+ minimum somewhere in the league

Look for cheaper options. Zadorov Myers not worth over 3 million. Hronek not worth over 6.

I'm sorry Rob but saying Zadorov is in the 4 million range is ludicrous. You talk about the X-factor he didn't just have that- he brought a hard punishing playoff energy that is deeply valuable. Bigger players take longer to develop and you don't get much bigger than Zadorov. 5x5 is absolutely okay to do for Z. He was our best D in the playoffs, he is also a fantastic skater, especially for his size.

Zadorov is a left shot flash in the pan. Canucks need Hronek to get back to the playoffs. Everyone else can be replaced.
