He was indeed raised by the Jomsvikings the most legendary order of viking mercenaries ever. The war against Edmund was truly epic as documented in the Anglo Saxon chronicle and many sagas. The tale of the proposed duel was one of legend. The respect these warrior kings had for each other was something truly great. It’s rare when adversaries have love for each other. Hope you don’t mind but I have a suggestion regarding Playlists… I think it would be cool to create playlists based on shows, where the videos about that specific show would be. For example, one for all historical figures from The Last Kingdom and another for Vikings. I just think it would be much easier for us views to binge ALL videos on a specific shows from a playlist, rather than going through the channel, potentially missing/over looking some from the show and probably getting distracted by other recommendations from other channels. But I completely get that… 1 - it’ll take you forever to find all videos from every show you have ever covered 2 - someone will probably ask for a playlist dedicated to specific figures themselves, such all a playlist for every video regarding Alfred the Great. 3 - if we scroll through your channel, we’ll probably stumble across other videos that peak our interest and thus you get more view haha. Would love to hear your thoughts. Until then, keep up with the outstanding work! I love the channel.

Example of changes in one name/nickname in my family ; Johan … ( Johannes, Iohannes, John, Jon, Jan, Jess, Jonas , Johann, - and not to forget that in east europe it was ( Jerzy, Jan ) … another name Jacob ( Yep and Ib ) where there are dates related to my search there are sometimes name change into nick or real name as where to the person was from in region of world.
