In this mini-series we're going to go over all the different electronic components and how they work, in plain english with as little maths as humanly possible!
We're going to continue looking at charging capacitors, this time we are charging capacitors with a constant voltage applied.

Hope you enjoy this one :) This stuff is quite useful if you can get your head around it!!

After doing some light studying of PID controllers, it makes so much sense why those curves represent roughly differential and integral terms for a PID loop. And so cool that you could build such a complex controller using simple "passive" components.

Great video's! As a beginner this really helps to get an intuitive understanding of electronics. Will you cover other components as well? (like transistors and mosfets?) Keep up the good work!

Diodes are next, followed by transistors - BJT & then MOSFET :) Thanks for watching!!

My goodness gracious! This one appears to be a bit too sophisticated for my finite brain cells!

Like the video, but could you slow down just a little bit? (coffee? :)) Also, the whiteboard is a bit hard to read, dont know if it would help if you zoomed in a bit and put something over the light source so that it gave a more diffused light?

Hi mate! If i zoom in anymore the whiteboard will be off camera!! I have plans to get some better lighting, that whiteboard is actually a pain to film because of the reflection. I really appreciate the feedback :) I'll try and slow down a bit, These explainer videos i was trying to make as concise as possible, maybe i overdid it a bit! Thanks for watching!!! :)

@@TheAudioPhool It will be of camera, but you dont have to use the full board. If you zoom in so that the white space to the left and right disappears, you'll have the full width and lines will appear thicker to the camera, so easier to see. Maybe not the best idea. Keep up the good work!

@@ata843 ok, 0.75 are perfect! Also gives a dreamy/feverish feeling to it.
