The thing I don't like about this game, is that you can play safe and poke the whole round, only to get a combo and a half and die... But not every character has the option for said ridiculous combo to K.O.... Street fighter is so unbalanced

If i'm not mistaken, Abby punch got nerfed, you now get worse oki if you go for max damage (6 frames difference or so, which is pretty big). Can be almost negated by using vt2, but nobody uses that trigger anyway.

The commentator literally just said to buff Abigail with 25 more HP. Dumbest comment I’ve heard from a commentator this whole tournament. I don’t know what this commentators issue with Tokido/Akuma is, but he’s been passive aggressive against him every match I’ve watched.

Jon Ashworth all the other commentators are on other matches. Good commentary is really only warranted for top 8 stuff. I bet if sajam or James Chen were on this match they’d mostly talk about the players and not so much the gameplay anyway. These commentators are probably better at it than 99.99% of the community, they’re just cracking jokes because A) anybody who’s watching this match live can probably break down the match themselves B) Anybody who’s watching a VOD could go step by step and break it down on their own And C) this is probably like 3 hours since the tournament started and another 3 hours before top 8, so they just need some voices to fill time and keep the crowd entertained They’re not getting paid enough for good commentary if they’re even being paid at all. If the commentary is ruining it for you then you can mute it, if you need the commentary then this is what you’re gonna have to work with.
