Hey Buddy,What make and size is that power knob? Guessing its about a 45mm size? Thanks!! Rob
@CapeCodCanalFishing5 жыл бұрын
Ya I believe that’s the size of this one in the video, in my latest video (my new setup) I have a 47mm knob on that reel
@Roberthood12345 жыл бұрын
I was going to get the 45mm for a Diawa BG 4500 or 5000--haven't decided which to get yet for my 11' Diawa Coastal 3-8 oz rod. You think the 47mm is better for this set up?? ....or should I stick to the 45mm as planned. Just wondering whether you'd rather have the 45mm or happier with the 47mm??
@CapeCodCanalFishing5 жыл бұрын
Rob it’s personal preference honestly, can’t really tell a difference between the two sizes myself, I have the 47mm on my daiwa saltist 5000 and it’s perfect
@robertklauzinski17325 жыл бұрын
Gotcha thanks! Oh in the video you were using the saltist 4500 I thought-did you bump it up to a saltist 5000 or just typo?

Robert Klauzinski my old videos I had a 4500, my new reel is a 5000

Great video dude!--I'm looking to buy that exact same rod/reel. Quick questions: 1: did you get the MOJO is M or MH power for the canal; and 2: how many yards of 50lb were you able to get on that Saltist 4500? Greatly appreciate the 1st hand knowledge of the set up i'm looking to buy.Thanks!!Rob
@CapeCodCanalFishing6 жыл бұрын
Rob hey Rob it's a good setup, make sure you get the MH for the canal. The saltist 4500 should hold over 300 yards of 50lb if I remember correctly! Thanks for watching and the sub!

Hey buddy--thanks for the speedy reply and info on rod/reel line capacity. I went to Basspro and tried the Mojo in the 10'-6" MH 2-6 oz and also the 10' M 1-4 oz and thought the 10' balanced better with that reel. The question is do you think I can get away with the 10' set up in the canal?? I'll be using the rod/reel as an all a rounder too....beach, jetties, ....etc. thanks again for the guidance as I value the advice! -Rob

Robert Klauzinski Rob I had a friend asking me the same question, and I told them which one to get (MH), well they went and got the M and after there first outing at the canal I get a text saying they were returning the rod and getting the MH. The M just doesn't have enough backbone in it for the current of the canal, never mind once you get a fish on the line. The reel is a tad small for it but i downsized from the 6500 size strictly due to back problems, unneeded something lighter because I ruptured 3 disc in my back. Hope this helps, any other questions just ask! Tight lines
