In this video, Savannah and I discussed tied strategies on the Canal. We also discussed how and when to plan your trips to the Canal based on what the conditions are on the Canal.

That's the best way up there now. Things have been different for the past two seasons. We cant show up at "the best times" and a bite happens. Now you have to show up, note what's happening, and react...The Canal has "new fish" running through it, and baits that don't usually enter so it's changing the patterns. Keep at it and enjoy the hunts.

The canal is mostly 30 some feet deep, but there are some holes that are 40 and 50 feet deep. Never heard of it being deeper then that. Great video! Tight Lines.....

As far as the depth of the canal, the consistent depth is about 35-40’ but there are some holes that will get up to 50-55’ deep and are pretty wide and long as well

These tides still confuse me.Watched multiple videos and had a guy at Red Top try and explain and gave me there tide chart book. So,when the tide is high at say the west end is it low at east end? I believe what the guy at red top tried to tell me an East tide is when it goes low and west when it goes high.Does this sound right?Read somewhere the buzzards bay is higher and it drain into cape cod bay like a bathtub draining?ANY THOUGHTS?

Thanks for commenting. Honestly, the answers to all of those questions were covered in this video. I know the video is a bit long, but I covered that in the video. Watch it again, and if you still feel like I haven't answered those questions, ask more specific questions, providing the time stamps, please.
