I just got back from the Cape yesterday. Already miss it. Went to Onset and Craigsville Beach. Swam in Craigsville Beach. It was awesome. Bathtub like warm water and the sandbar was soft like velvet. It was so awesome. I have some sand and shells in a glass jar I collected after the swim. Also went to Osterville and Barnstable as well.

Growing up in Connecticut and having a family compound on the Cape, give my great memories. Now I’m retired and choose the North Carolina OBX. Never snows here 🤠

Thank you for posting this. I will be taking a road trip to the Cape Cid area in a few weeks. If anyone has recommendations of how to make the best of 2 days there I appreciate it. The main trip focus is on Route 6, and ending at Pilgrom's Monument in P-town (coming from Madison WI) At this point the plan is a combo of these things, but not sure how to take them in, chronologically over 2 days. Any ideas are appreciated. Also, am lookong for inexpensive lodging. Cabin with shared bathroom facilities is ok. Tent camping looks like. 2 or 3 day minimum is required. : Procincetown-Pilgrim's Monument and a bit of Commerce street. Yarmouth-Pirate Museum, Hyannis-JFK Museum, Brewster-Cape Cod Museum, Sandwich-Boardwalk, Dexter Grist Mill, Old Town Cemetery, Hoxie House, Scusset Beach.

Kristie Ely you will have an amazing time! Provincetown was awesome we absolutely loved the Pilgrim monument (you’ll get your steps in for the day if you get to the top 😋). Unfortunately I don’t have much info regarding cabins.
