They told us about their home they used to be on the shore line. It’s sad but I’m glad they are busy! They said they were working 16 hour days

What time of year was this? I see bathing suits to long sleeve and jackets. Also how was the mosquitos?

This was Memorial Day weekend. Had a cold front come in the last day. The bugs weren’t awful but the trick is to not camp near the dunes. Also the sand mites are pretty bad. They itch just like chiggers. They say that they come out at night but if you wear some bug spray or put on shoes socks and pants you will be okay.

What did it cost you to ride the ferry over. I have same Tacoma as you. Thanks

I can’t remember exactly but somewhere between 85-116$ for the round trip! So that’s total cost of visiting the island and getting a ride back. But the Davis shore ferry should have more accurate information!

Hey, what were yall using to surf behind the 4 wheeler? wanna do that with mine, we do that but in the snow.

It was just a Beach Skim board! Then we used a rope used for wake boarding tied to the 4wheeler.

Can I take my UTv out there? What are the stipulations?

You can ride a UTV out there but it isn’t an off-road park. They are to be used as transportation and are required to obey the speed limit as all other vehicles are. People use their utvs to haul fishing gear or beach gear. They are all utility side by sides I’ve seen. I don’t even know if they will allow a razor/Canam/talon to go on the island in fear that they will be used inappropriately.
