ALTERNATER, disconnect everything > the hot lead and the quick clip - You WILL fry your diodes guaranteed, the mig or tig arc way too much grunt for 12V electrics- rendering it useless until repaired or replaced, and undo the battery as step 1, then the hot cable & ,then clip plug, your good to go, protects the ECU also.

@Adv4x42 күн бұрын
That’s next!
@twin1q2 күн бұрын
@Adv4x4 I'm tempted to make one. However, if the cost is over 10k then I won't think it's worth the effort. Great build BTW.
@Adv4x42 күн бұрын
@twin1q it is easily less then half of that for the materials! The add ons like the awning/table etc is where the price starts to go up. Which would be no different than buying a camper and outfitting it with accessories.

What type of aluminum are you using? My local industrial supply has large sheets of 3003 and am going to experiment with that.

I watched all your videos and it came out great. When you were all finished were the 40# struts strong enough ? I have roof fan and 26# solar panel
@xerejuneseve633312 күн бұрын
Your fuel filter is in reverse position,with is unsufficient. You should use a silent green pump and stick some soundproofing material.

I know this is an old video but the ARB Single was never made to fill tyres over 31" and at a pinch 33" tyres, Not to mention that Tank or 35"++ Tyres, Yes it will do it But it was made for 31X10X15's or 7.50x 16's or Smaller, then the world wanted 35s and 37" Tyres, So don't blame the ARB Compressor because you tried to make it do a job it was never intended to do. If you had used Two Singles or buy the Twin then you wouldm't of had a problem.

Hello I would be very happy if you could make a project for the defender double cabin and share it.

FYI - Sika 330 - this stuff can be applied before you powder coat, cracks, seams, alum panels can all be glued and caulked before it’s coated and the coating will stick to the Sika 330. Be sure to check with your powder coat company beforehand as they might want to do a test sample.

3yrs late to the party, I read comments so I wasn’t repeating questions. Did you change hoods or reuse your 2nd gen hood? I was trying to figure that out after it came off.

He put on a 2012-2015 hood. Only difference is the cutout for the grille/ headlights. Hope this helps!!!

You're worried about hitting the axle flange because of bearing damage lol but have no problem hitting the nut on the stud ? Taking mechanical advise from you seems dangerous
