A beautiful , different era,.... incredible what was accomplished in a very short period by fantastic engineers, craftsman , masons etc.... the detail is 100% Tartarian Age...its literally a different world....electrical trams !!! We have not evolved we have "devolved' over time....sad. I wish i could've been there to see the builders in action !!! Phenomenal !!!

Alderman Brett Herron was quite excited about the "progress" when MyCiti Bus introduced EV buses fairly recently. So I told him he came a bit late to that party, as I recall seeing electric trolley buses about six decades ago, also in Johannesburg. The young ones think they're first with great ideas. 😂😂 There's nothing new under the sun.

Thank you for sharing this video! 🤝 It’s a very sensible topic when architects, engineers built Cape Town.. Without these historical moments, Cape Town would not be so beautiful as it is today! South Africa is unfortunately degrading, I’m very sad about this and I cannot do anything - my most favourite country on Earth is sinking like the Titanic. The new society is terrible and can only destroy everything! They are not creators! Even my family (top quality upper level South Africans with traditional family values, etiquette and morale) have to move to Europe to our ancestors because of this now…

i feel like the things people dont like about cape town now are a result of late stage captalism taking advantage of the the government, im pretty sure we lost a large portion of those buildings during apartheid. im just upset we lost the trams. a rail network would greatly benefit all people who live here.

All built by the Coloured people and other slaves brought from India and Malaysia. These people were all underpaid and work a 10 hour day, 6 days a week. All the Coloured people who lived there were forcefully removed and located to places outside of Cape Town.😊

Europeans are definitely a superior race. Just look at the buildings and architecture. Europeans were building cities and traveling across oceans. When they arrived here in 1652 the black people were still wearing skins and hadn't even seen a wheel.

is life really about being better than others? having to break others down just to feel better about yourself? africans did not care about being the best or having the best equipment, they were content with their people, they only cared about being there for each other instead of outshining others. they were definitely much happier than the europeans, that is for sure.
