Brad Pitt's accent is actually very good as he is playing a Traveller (gypsy) which is slightly diff from mainland Ireland. Think Tyson Fury. I have come into many British travellers in London in my lifetime and Brad's accent is surprisingly accurate

@@loisthehedgehog7658 guess it wasn’t bad! Actually pretty good. “Many, many gypsies talk a lot like that. It's not a regional dialect, it's just how some of us talk. Brad Pitt was taught by a relative of mine (Bobby Frankham) to fight mainly, but also to act like a traveller, and he even lived with him for a time while training so he could see how we live. So while his portrayal was exaggerated for sure, it actually is pretty accurate.”

Just shows alot of the humour is universal despite not everybody understanding the accents. You are right though mate, it is definitely worth watching again to fully appreciate it all. And Gypsy is also a derogatory (and incorrect) name for the Roma-people. The name originated because when originally Romani-migrants came to England, the English had not heard of India (where they emigrated from), but had heard of Egypt thanks to the Bible which gave them an excuse to discriminate. It's nice how it's up to the viewer to decide if he's using his fist or his elbow on every single ko...

I love this movie and Brad is my favorite character. Steals his scenes. Whenever someone brings this movie up, i immediately respond with (in a thick piker accent), "a caravan. it's for me ma"

Check out lock, stock, and two smokin barrels by Guy. It was the original, this was made for a more American audience

Those jump cuts by Ritchie. Wow! Great style. Check out "Lock, Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels". I think that was his first. Great.
