Nothing will change until the system change. End political parties. Direct election of independent candidates. More power to local government, less power to national government.

Vote Anc and have youths fromthe justice department to work in the canet as politicians and independent outside youths to work i the political process and the platforms can still watch closely

The problem is everyone wants to be a leader, why not form one party ? You are all talking about the same problems we face in the W.Cape.

One big opposition to the DA sounds good to me, its a tale of two cities for sure.

Then the DA should not be bothering to ask the poor to vote for them if they are not worthy of decent services. I never heard such a nonsense comment given the history we come from. The sense of entitlement is epic!!!I live in the UK and councils spend more money on poor areas TO UPLIFT THEM, especially in the area of education and job creation. Better educated and more people in jobs means MORE TAXES. Then you all act surprised that everyone points out its a tale of two cities. The rich can vote for the DA and the poor can vote for those that want to uplift them.

ACDP involving community, is loving your neighbour as Christ commands. Neighbourhood watches are the communities in action. It is putting more eyes on the ground. The answer as to how to motivate people to get involved is one huge challenge. Experience has taught me that patrols are only done by the same few individuals. To keep them involved & motivated is very important in all NHW's. If anyone has a suggestion let me have it please.
