49:20 "Scenario Incomplete" Maybe you should have just gunned it on the first part, when you were on the fasts, and got up to 115 instead of staying at 100. That would have gained you some time, and met the first time requirement. Trying a faster acceleration and deceleration in/out of stations would have also helped :) and as for the last bit - 15mph? who needs to do 15? :p Great two part video anyways :)

I was only late at the first stop because I was slow in setting the train up, no reason to start breaking the rules lol, and then because of the weather I had to drive carefully, constant wheelslip and slide wouldn't help matters!

I'm kinda a noob at the game but I have always wondered, does GSM-R actually do anything on train simulator or is it just for show?

It mostly is just there for show, being able to set it up is a nice touch for realism but it doesn't do much else, the issue it it revolves around talking to signallers and drivers etc so without something like multiplayer, there's very little it can add
