My family and friends are based in Dallas and Denver, but I work and live abroad, so the Global entry/TSA credits, lounge network, etc. come in handy.

I'm thankful for Global Entry every time I come back to the US and the unlimited Priority Pass is great!

Venture X + SavorOne = 🔥🔥🔥 Thanks for the info + video!

I love the combo too! Glad I have both of them

Been rocking the capital one duo + Apple Card for a year and it just works for me and I love the simplicity of it. I just hope than next year capital one refreshes the venture x for better domestic airline and hotel partners.

The Capital One duo + Apple card sounds great and easy. It would be nice to see a few more domestic partners, but I'm not sure if they'll add any

I just got the Altitude Reserve (had to put in a YOLO application when all the rumors about it being discontinued started appearing) and I got approved like a week and a half ago. Glad I got it since it did get discontinued, but my main setup was the Amex Gold + Venture X/Amex BBP. While I'm loving the USBAR now there's no way I could see myself ever canceling the Venture X, the travel credit, lounge access, TSA precheck and the Hertz status is so good. I just need to figure out what to use it for now since I don't use it at Costco anymore.

That's exciting you got approved for the USBAR. I'm happy we were aware of the rumor a while before they closed applications so if anybody wanted to get it, they could. I don't know if I'll ever get rid of the Venture X in it's current form

Easily my favorite and just simple to use card

So simple and easy. I use this card for many purchases without really thinking because of the 2x on everything

My wife got the VX then the Savor and made me an AU. Last week I was in the DEN lounge and will be in DFW on Sunday. I fly weekly (Hawaii this week) and want access to multiple lounges.

That's awesome! I really like the Capital One lounges

Jacob, did you find that Capital One tend to NOT approve people who open many cards, have many new accounts and new inquiries? Thank you
@JacobsPointsAndProfitАй бұрын
Yes that is what people say about Capital One cards. My wife and I may want to 2 Venture X cards in our household at some point, but we aren't pre-approved for a 2nd one

Should I apply for the Venture X now or wait to see if a better welcome offer becomes available in January?
@JacobsPointsAndProfit24 күн бұрын
We haven’t seen an elevated welcome offer in a long time so I think it’s unlikely we’ll see a better offer on the Venture X in January, so if you want the card now, I’d say go for it. I’d appreciate if you used my link to apply so I can keep making videos like this one. Thank you!

can one transfer c1 points from dofferent accounts? i.e. i have the savor but built up too much velocity for c1 to approve me for the vx. my p2 would likely be approved though. can you complete a 2 player c1 duo set up?
@CleverIVАй бұрын
Yes. Have Savor/V1 combo, P2 has VX/S1 combo. Can transfer my Savor points to p2’s VX since im an AU
@JacobsPointsAndProfitАй бұрын
I haven't personally transferred between different Capital One accounts, but I've read it's possible
@billwright2176Ай бұрын
The vx x2 is so hyped. Be honest. Most people will not transfer. They will use the portal. Content creators know how the transfers work. Normal people don't This card will give you poor value if it's just a one card system. Other systems like chase will do better. Unlimited to the csr amd your points value of 1.5 become 2.25. Who's the vx customer?? Younger people who have larger families and use the free authorized user cards to get the kids into the lounge. . Or it's people who will be at the 4? Lounge locations or home airports.
@JacobsPointsAndProfitАй бұрын
You're probably correct that many people won't transfer their points and that's why I'm usually pretty conservative with my estimations. The $300 travel credit + 10k anniversary miles and lounge access make this a great card in my opinion. Yes, if you only want to use the portal, the CSR makes a lot of sense. This week I was traveling with my wife and my parents in Denver and my parents only have 1 Barclays credit card so we were able to ask if they wanted to join us in the Capital One lounge
@LK_EBMАй бұрын
I redeem all my Cap1 miles at 1 CPP by redeem for general travel. I'd rather get 2 CPP vs. 2.25 cpp locked in Chase travel portal (and having to pay higher CSR AF).
@billwright2176Ай бұрын
@LK_EBM spend on freedoms and Inks. Use and redeam with saphires. Dinning x3 becomes x4.5. Unless it's a flex catogory then it's x7 becoming 10.5. We are on our third year of groceries and gas earning x5 becoming x7.5. Im responding to this with the internet paid for with a ink cash earning x5. The ink cash opens you up to many places at x5 with gift card use. The C1 math dosnt work. It's all down to close use of the C1 lounge or need for larger PP access. Then you justify with excepting less. Not saying you can't redeam your annual fee. But you won't excel in points. Lol the internet is full of people saying different. 2.25 is still more than 2. Chase has Great random merchant statement credits. Between these and a few other credits im zero on annual fee with organic spend. If im going to buy a sandwich I know each month I'll have 2 or 3 resturants giving me 10% off in statement credit.
