Always a surprise to see the Americans love for small British Sports cars of the 60’s & 70’s. There’s seems a real passion for them over there. As kids we all thought Americans like big wide and powerful vehicles, not narrow 2 seaters with small ish engines. So nice to see the enthusiasm.

My guess is most American car guys like and prefer the muscle cars. But as you noted, there is an enthusiastic and vibrant community throughout the USA for LBC's. Easy to work on, fun to drive, and stylish.

You got it in, but sometimes many hands don't make life easier, they just get in the way. The overdrive tranny is way heavier than a standard, help putting it in keeps damage to a minimum, having the right tools is the key. Nice job!

Yes indeed. It's a tight space to begin with and everyone is eager to help. But, they got it done ;-)

Could I ask, What manual is that, you're using? I have a "brand new " 'XIX 75 . I ve ordered several repair manuals, that are ..... NOT repair manuals. Any suggestions? Thx

It was a Haynes manual (for Triumph TR6) and a Moss Motors parts catalogue. Not sure what the XIX 75 is but Haynes makes a manual for almost everything. The car enthusiasts bible.
