Wow! First I want to say thank you Jesus, you are amazing! For the past almost 2 weeks I have been battling with worldly music. Even after I would listen to it I would feel so convicted. Since moving to NC we haven't been as involved with church like we used because our church is 45 minutes away. So we are spiritually dieing...? Just feel discouraged. For the last week I feel God pulling, tugging, convicting me and it's been so hard to cut the music, but I get on KZbin today and what's on my recommended feed? This video! Haha! My God is GOOD! Knows just what I need and sends it just when I need it!

I sometimes look up Shara Mckee and Pentecostals of Alexandria along with other Gospel music! It seems to help me. I used to be big into country but sense going all Gospel for my music I can tell a surprising difference.

Truly speaking I use to listen to any kind of music and enjoy it,but when I got serious with God ijust don't find it interesting anymore.

Yes I can agree what he’s saying. When I became a Christian the Lord really put it in my heart to stop listing to secular music. Although it is a struggle because I do really enjoy some secular songs. At times when I would though listen to rock Or other I began to struggle with anger, lust etc and was reveled because of the music I was listening to. I try to keep it limited or only stick to Christian music. But yes if your wondering why your thought life is struggling maybe check what the lyrics are talking about.

What's also sad is when you see someone who has God-given talent using it in the worldly music industry. That has to be so unfulfilling. No wonder there is so much drug use and suicide in that profession. They are so totally missing the mark of God's calling on their life. Use your talents for God, young people. Dedicate what He has given you back to Him with all your heart and don't let anything like pride or conceit pervert it. Keep it pure and Holy and you will have joy unspeakable and full of glory for all the days of your life. Don't perform--worship the Lord instead.
