Such a rich .. well informed .. thought provoking dialogue on so many levels .. which prompts the question .. what are the seven deadly sins .. They are... not in alphabetical order .. lust .. gluttony .. greed.. sloth or laziness .. wrath or anger .... envy .. pride ... Your insightful conversation spoke to many of these sins .. which no one cares to touch on consider or refer to by name .. yet at the core of the ills of our world ... the overall malaise of society .. which is the foundation of your conversation .. Most if not all have lost their moral rudder .. compass .. as to why we are actually on this planet .. what ones focus .. purpose in the end .. ought to be built on ... It is not to amass more money .. assets .. status .. power .. but be brothers and sisters to each other ... and should each of us abide by such a principle .. there would be no starvation .. wars .. poverty .. fighting ... it would all end .. in a heartbeat .. Is that a Utopian ideology .. perhaps .. yet there is no one here in our time or any other for that matter ..who is greater than another .. sadly ... we have been indoctrinated to think otherwise .. pitted against each other under many circumstances .. and respond with one or many of the sins listed above .. For the truth be told .. it is in the end of little if any importance ..as to the car one drives .. the clothes they wear.. where they dine ...the big house they may live in .. how many trips they take per year .. ones purpose ought to be guided by .. " For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me." There is no one lesser nor is he greater than another .. this is the mantra we are ALL called to live by .. ALL are appointed to be stewards of the world .. our brothers keeper .. yet have lost sight of this eternal message .

Interesting chat. However, if you plan on doing more capitalism debates, maybe we should talk. Your hardcore socialist friend who feels bad he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, doesn't care for your arguments on efficiency, nor will efficiency persuade anyone. They are arguing over morality and you keep saying "I agree its immoral, but what is the alternative" then you have lost the argument.
