Very cool. The 1/32 Tamiya jets are still all great kits. I took advantage of a Black Friday sale and bought another F-4J to convert into a F-4E making seven total. After seeing the latest Turkey special livery F-4E it may be eight. I am building a F-4J VMFA- 333 5526 as you did. Max's Models is currently doing a YT series on a 5526 project also. His next store neighbour is, Capt. John D. Cummings. Max has been collecting suggestions from modellers on what we would like Tamiya to make a kit of. There are videos of his involvement with the company to help with that decision. I promoted for 1/32 jets, a new part F-15D, DJ. New part, late block F-16 New tool or new part F-4E, EJ. New part F-15EX. New tool F-104. If there is an aircraft kit you would like to see Tamiya produce contact Max.

Oh yes, you are absolutely right. Tamiya builds excellent planes. Even if some of them are a bit old. I particularly like the Phantom from Tamiya. They could also bring out a new Tomcat, but what I miss most is the F 22 Raptor. I would really like to build that, but the one from Revell is unfortunately not as good. I'm glad you like the planes. @@CapLAGOS You have great schemes and subjects. I swore off Revell after building the 1/48 SR-71. A Tamiya 1/32 F-22 or SR-72 would be welcomed. F-14 should be a new tool kit and deserves it but that is a big investment Tamiya may not take. It is worth a try to make them aware so I will mention it to Max. The F-4J along with the rest may take more than a year to finish. I do a lot of extra scratch building and aftermarket upgrades.

Extremely cool. You've put a ton of work into those models and it shows. Out of curiosity, do you let the canopies and sometimes the vertical stabilizers kind of "float" off the model so you can remove them for transport?

@@modelar705 Hello Ken, yes, you noticed something good. It's because I grew up with the idea that the F18 replaced the F 14.😅 Jokes aside, it's often not cheap to get. Always costs around €200. However, I have one that I still want to build, a C version. Best wishes from rainy Germany
