I’ve been to Cappadocia so many times Once, I went into one of these deserted wine cellar, and crawl into a small hole and went all the way up to the top of the mountain through the tunnel That is quite an Indiana Jones thing And I heard that this tunnels actually go through all the way around the cities like 100 miles apart There are seven layers of floor going all the way down to 100 m You guys are so lucky to be there

We went to Cappadocia in 1999 during a 2 week trip to Turkey and again during our 3 month honeymoon in 2000 because we loved it so much. Stayed in Urgup, one of the quieter towns. Back then you’d only see a couple of hot air balloons. It was expensive back then but one of the most memorable experiences we’ve ever had. Thanks for your beautiful video and brining back cherished memories ❤

We watched this episode from Tirana, Albania, here now a week almost. On your recommendation. We've loved it here. Food, beer, prices and our lovely rooftop on the 12th floor of our Airbnb. Parks and spruce trees offer great walks in the city. We even did a night at the opera house. So thanks. Its so easy to be here and very friendly. No hassle. So many bars and coffee houses. Cakes pattiseries are incredible. So guess its Turkey next? Thank you guys. Enjoy your travels keep posting, love your videos. ❤..

The information you guys provide on everything is so awesome, I love it! It's like you're giving me my own personal little tour! My claustrophobia kicked in and I panicked a little for you guys when you were in those narrow tunnels! Loved your first hotel room, terrified of the second one! You two are way way braver than me! Question, since you are using local sim cards, how do you get around from your state side bank or other accounts if they are sending a text to the phone number on file for verification? Just to add, I plan on doing the same as you all, the Slow Travel, retiring between March and August 2026. I have already spoke to my two boys, friends and co-workers. Now I get to tell my mom over Thanksgiving. Looking forward to more videos & overall information from the two of you. Happy Thanksgiving.

We are planning a week in Cappadocia, but don't want to change locations. Which one should we choose of the two places you stayed?

We would stay in the main town of Goreme. You can easily visit all of the surrounding area from there. Enjoy Cappadocia, and safe travels!!

When I was there in 2013 the hot air balloons were super cheap like $50 but not even worth it for the crazy prices they are offering it at

So crazy!! We wouldn't do it for half the price they are asking! We like the price for just watching from the ground, free!!
