05:05 3,5 USD from Noi Bai to Hanoi center by taxi (30 Km)? It must be a mistake, I never paid less than 15 USD and that was long time ago.

Not sure what you’re budget is but it would be easy to spend months in Peru: Lima, Cusco, Nazsca lines region, Lake Titicaca etc. Then go to Bolivia because that is a country you don’t know should make your list (if you like mountains). Also, everyone should give India a chance because it is awesome. If you can handle Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia then you can handle India.

Interesting video, finance is my favorite hobby and I enjoyed that aspect. That said, I've done limited traveling abroad, never in Asia or Australia, but I find it exhausting! I'm "only" 63 and in great shape, but after 10 days, I'm ready to get home. I try to speak the native languages (French and Spanish only), but that feels like work after a while as well. Seems I'm alone in this perspective, but good for you for traveling so efficiently!

Im wondering if it might be more cost effective with regard to health insurance if i dropped Medicare and the Medigap supplement (total currently $315/month) and instead purchased international health insurance? I'm 72 and pretty healthy.😊

I had dental work (crowns, permanent bridge, root canal) done in mexico, and was very satisfied, looking forward to the Antalya dental vid. P.S. Your videos are the best ive found so far, very practical and informative. Need to do a deep dive binge watch😊 Hoping, after hip replacement recovery to slow travel nine months, then return to the US to babysit my two great nieces in the summers. Thanks so much for your awesome videos, which will definitely make travel time easier. Thinking of starting a KZbin of my own called Tia's Travels😊

I like your videos about Turkey but as a Turkish person(i used to live in Istanbul but now i live in Usa) i need to add some points. It is not really right to say that Turkey is Middle East. It is a very controversial subject actually. Turkish People usually prefer to call themselves Euroasians or simply Europeans (which might be debetable but that is how we define ourselves). Another thing about Istanbul is yes the city has a horrible traffic but since it is a really huge city (apart from tram and buses) locals use subway a lot. It actually surprised me that you did not really mention that or even try that. Ps: If you'll ever go back to Istanbul again try to visit the hip Asian Side Moda. It is in Kadikoy district. And in the European side Nisantasi-Tesvikiye area has a beautiful city park called Macka Park where young ones and locals spend a lot of time. I love Prince Islands too. Take care guys💖🧿

Big fan of your budget travel videos. You have provided some well advised travel hacks and tips that can be applied for all. I understand your past travels of Italy were mixed and at times underwhelming, but to compare Tropea and the Cinque Terre to not wanting to go to the Amalfi Coast is a miss. As all of Italy has become, the timing of when to visit is the key, like many other very popular sites. The Amalfi Coast and Santorini are two of the most unique and beautiful destinations a traveler can experience. Hope you’ll find your way back to Italy one day and give this awesome country with such varied landscapes and sites to visit another try. We’ll be going for our 10th time this Fall and still only scratching the surface of this diverse country(history, culture, food, people, landscapes).

Great question. Carrie uses a HP Spectra and I use the Asus Zenbook for all the editing. If you plan to do video editing don't cheap out and buy something that you think will do. Thats what I originally did and had to upgrade to the Zenbook.

A tip in most countries is completely unexpected. In some countries tipping id actually frowned upon. We do tip on haircuts or if we have had an executional experience. The amount that you tip is up to you, but it is nowhere near 20%.

You guys are so awesome and informative. Thank you for what you're doing. As you mentioned your coffee places, I am a bit of a coffee freak so each time before I travel somewhere one of the first things I look up is 'specialty coffees' on my google maps. A coffee barista girl in Verona told me that there is an app to install called 'European coffee trip'. These coffees are not cheap though, possibly 4-5 Euros. I found a great coffees in Split, Croatia and in Budapest, Hungary, Munich, Budva, Old Town (Casper Bar) etc. They've got many places like that in Istanbul. So, here we go - time for me to visit. Happy travels!

Super Excited to see this video of Portugal! We took our first trip in April & Loved Portugal! Looking at areas for our retirement. Appreciated hearing options for those that just don't drink alcohol. We flew into Lisbon & took the train to Albufeira, for 5 days in the Algarve. Did not rent a car. Day trips to Carvoeiro for the boardwalk & boat trip dolphin watching & cave tour. Took bus' north for 2days in Obidos. We also found the Rapida Verde bus from Campo Grande to Obidos! Worth it for us, as we stayed over & enjoyed the quiet evening in the beautiful village! Then 6 days in Lisbon with day trips to Tomar, Sintra & the coast. Amazing trip, planning our return trip!

Again perfect timing this video. We ccmpleted our Norwegian Fjords cruise and currently staying in Budapest, Hungary until end of May. Booked a direct Ryan Air flight to Faro from here for 2nd of May. Now in the process of booking accommodation between Faro and Lagos, Airbnb search showing quite a few different properties scattered around on different towns along the beach. Of course the rates have gone up a lot in Portugal in general. One question how long you rented the car when you were there in Lagos ? Did you rent entire your stay and dropped back in Faro airport ? What kind of options for rental car pickup and drop from Faro Airport. Which rental car company you folks used and any specific rental sites to book ?
