I’m so happy you used color and not just brown!!! 😩 every time I see a Capricorn inspired look it’s just brown brown freaking BROWN! I felt the same way with the fish tail.. As a Capricorn, I do not relate to my sign at all other than my moodiness and smarts. I am VERY intuitive and emotional and have never been good at working. I'm more interested in art and joy but I LOVE deep dark moody darkness so I think your play on mixing earth and water was very thoughtful and not at all boring like we are so often portrayed as. We are quite quirky and creative also so you probably could have played up the "horn" look way more.. maybe even in the eyebrows for a bit of that capricorn humor we see in goats themselves (also, fun fact, Jim carry is a capricorn) other than that well done! Love the peacock colors. The blend of Earth and water was very well balanced. 🐐 🙃

Capricorn Moon Sign here. I think us Goats are all about doing our own thing in our own time. We're not so much busy worker bees as we are thorough. We get accused of taking things too seriously, but honestly, I think that's us preferring quality over quantity in all parts of our lives.

My moon sign is Capricorn. For me, I think the introverted trait really shows up in me. Just like a stubborn goat chiling on their mountain, I like being by myself. Sure, I like people, but they have to be MY people. I like what you said about the balance between earth and water. Ironically, my sun sign is Cancer, so in general, there is always this push/pull of me being either too deep in a cave or too deep in the ocean. 😅 Metaphors aside, I think Cancers and Capricorns are both really introspective and don't like casual interactions. I think this one of your best makeup looks. You captured not only the earthiness of Capricorns but also the elegance of the Deep Winter Night. Absolutely beautiful, like the Northern Lights.

I like how you evoke the winter mountain with the eye look, and then the earthy feel of the lip and cheek, leaning into tree branches of the mountain with the duochrome capturing the sky and the glitter of snow. It’s very pretty too. My bonus daughter is a Capricorn, and she is beautiful, strong, and unflinching in her resolve. (Her dad, my partner, is a Taurus and I’ve watched them “debate” many times. So many symbolic horns!) This series should be fun! I’m also SO in love with Moth, and do hope RDF adds it to the permanent lineup. I also bought Eros during Black Friday and it’s a lovely option for a contour/blush combo shade. A little more lively than what I imagine Intuition would be.

Sun sign Capricorn here and I love this look 🌼 I might try something similar 💞 For you curious ones though, here's the story behind the fish tail goat... The story goes back to the Greek myth of the monstrous Typhon, a giant with serpentine legs and a hundred dragon heads, sent by Gaia to challenge the Olympian gods. Typhon was so fearsome that even the mighty gods fled in fear, taking on different animal forms to hide. Pan, the goat-legged god of the wild, shepherds and rustic music was no exception. In his *pan*ic (pun intended-this is where the word panic originates, just saying!), he attempted to transform himself into a fish to escape Typhon. However, in his haste, the transformation was incomplete. Despite the partial transformation, Pan managed to dive into the Euphrates River to hide. Later, when the gods regrouped to defeat Typhon, Pan played a crucial role by using his wits and musical prowess to help Zeus. As a reward, Zeus immortalized him in the stars as the constellation Capricorn, depicted as a sea-goat 🐐+🐟

Love the multichrome you picked as centerpiece; one of my fave combo kinds. Although I think what I have in that vicinity is more blue--brown, than green--brown.
