I've fallen in love with the island Chichijima. Thank you so much for showing us the trip to and from the island (the farewell was amazing!) And the island itself! After seeing this video, it's on my bucketlist to visit it. Thank you so much for all the effort you took to create this video series. I think it's the best one you've made so far. ❤ Sorry that I commented so late, KZbin unsibscribed me from your channel. So I didn't get the notification. Hopefully it won't happen again. I am confused, all the waving people, boats, following the ship, is it occasional or daily thing? Is it voluntarily or part of business activity? It seems much too organized to be spontaneous. Although wales supported all the commotion wonderfully!😂 Thank you for the trip! Now it is on my to do list. By the way, special thanks for the changing focus shot (outside-rain drops-window-room-doorway)! That was cool!👍
@capsulejapan8 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment. Not all of the people who see the ship off are spontaneous, but I can say that they are generally spontaneous. This is an island where everyone can be kind to others. And if someone is kind to you, you can be kind to someone else. If I lived on this island, I would still wave to the boats. That is what this island is all about.😸
great footage as always. As with Okinawa, winter is the best season for whale watching, and spring to autumn is the best to swim with sea turtles. I’ve just learned that Ogasawara has been used to track rockets launched by Japan, such as the H3, thank you.

That must have been amaizing😄 Thank you for the beautiful nature shots from Bonin Islands🥰 Invasive species are also a problem in Poland, but this is mainly due to climate changes and human activity. The truth is that we are the most invasive on Earth☹ I'm glad you had a comfortable journey back😘

Thank you for your comments from Poland. My trip to Ogasawara was a wonderful experience for me. The many battle sites, the food on the islands, the friendly people, etc. are all priceless. I learned that there is also serious competition from non-native species. You are right, it is humans who are the most dangerous alien species. I hope that the nature of the island will continue to be protected.😸

Yea must be climate change! 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️. Because apparently evolution stopped millions of years ago and plants and animals are not allowed to migrate and move . Everything is locked in place. Geez no wonder it’s so easy to manipulate the youth of today. What happened to common sense and education.

This great video inspired me to read a guidebook for the Ogasawara Islands (the Bonin Islands). According to the book, during World War II, there was a Japanese military radio facility on the top of Mt. Asahi. 6:18 The pilot who came to bomb the place was former US President George H.W. Bush, but the bomber was shot down by Japanese anti-aircraft fire. September 2, 1944. The two American soldiers on board died, and Bush was the only one who was rescued by an American submarine while drifting off the coast northeast of Chichijima. In 2002, Bush visited Chichijima, laid flowers at the spot where his aircraft was shot down, stayed overnight on Chichijima, and gave a speech promoting the friendship between Japan and the United States.
