True, a pilot his or her standard wage or salary is btn 10k to 15k in dollars a month all over the world. If just hired he or she can earn 700 to 1000 dollars per day's trip

Uganda Airlines won't get profitable until they get up to scale in fleet size. Just like any other business. You get more money from 600 Acres compared to 6 Acres. You get more money from 1200 Trucks compared to 12 Trucks. And still there is no Guarantee of profit. To get to a large fleet size, Uganda should have a Masterplan to build a large NEW AIRPORT for at least 160 million Passengers with at least 4 runways. It should be built in stages. Stage 1 - 1 Terminal and 2 runways - up to 40 million Passengers. Stage 2 - 2 Terminals and 2 runways up to 80 million Passengers. Stage 3 - 3 Terminals and 3 runways up to 120 Million passengers. Stage 4 - 4 Terminals and 4 runways up to 160 Million passengers. Rwandair is still not yet profitable since it started in 2010 and yet it has 12 Planes and Govt. of Rwanda has spent billions. They are planing to sell 51% Shares to Qatar Air. Qatar Air who understands the Aviation industry better, wants to expand the Bugesera Airport to 2 runways instead of the 1. Ethiopian Airlines is the most Profitable in Africa and they have 134 Planes. But it took many years. As for Salaries Uganda should hunt for the BEST people with experience in the Aviation Industry, and pay them High Salaries in order to Attract them. Thats what the Emirates Airlines did to get the big Guys like Tim Clark from UK to work for them. Today Emirates has a fleet of 264 Planes and still some years are not Profitable. To complain over the Salaries won't get the best people to Uganda airlines. Uganda Airlines without a Proper Masterplan that includes A New Airport, will remain a small and Unprofitable airline. Wasting Taxpayers money in Billions
